On Friday, October 6, as part of the European Researchers Night, a joint program in Ondřejov at the observatory of the Astronomical Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic and at the Geodetic Observatory of the Research Institute of Geodesy, Topography and Cartography was prepared. Astronomical Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic has prepared an extraordinary offer for the public including a tour of the observatory, observation of the sky through telescopes, above all, a tour of specialized departments and workplaces with explanations by scientists and observers. Employees of the Stellar Department also participated in the program.
