The workshop on observational techniques 2023 was organized in the period from Aug 20 until Sep 1 2023 at the observatory in Ondřejov. The participants of the school were 14 students from three universities: University of Potsdam in Germany, Charles University in Prague, and Masaryk University in Brno.
The main organizer and coordinator of the workshop at ASU was Dr. Brankica Kubátová and Dr. Jiří Kubát. Mauricio Cabezas and Tiina Liimets together with colleagues from the University of Potsdam taught students how to reduced spectroscopic and photometric observation taken in Ondřejov. Jiří Srba, Miroslav Šlechta, and Jan Kara taught students how to perform observation with 2m Perek and 0.65cm Mayer telescopes.
