Cooperation with the Kindergarten in Ondřejov

The Astronomical Observatory of the Czech Academy of Sciences in Ondřejov is the largest Czech institution engaged in space exploration. Ondřejov is thus an ideal place for attracting future generations of astronomy students. The observatory and its employees have been cooperating with the Ondřejov Kindergarten for several years. In the last two years, we have decided that in addition to talks for preschoolers about space, which were organized by Pavel Suchan, we will awake in children a relationship with the astronomy, in the form of projects on a selected topic. As part of the ERASMUS + program, which runs at the institute, since 2019 we focused on a topics related to the exoplanet and life in space. The project leader at the Stellar Department is Petr Kabáth.
