Synthetic spectra for O and B type subdwarf stars
This is the online repository of the NLTE grid of optical (3200–7200 Å) synthetic spectra calculated with
Tlusty/Synspec. The model atmospheres include the most recent hydrogen Stark broadening
profiles; were calculated in opacity sampling but limited to pure H/He composition. The grid
covers the observed parameter space of (He-)sdB and (He-)sdO stars, making it suitable for the
homogeneous spectral analyses of such evolved stars.
The grid has been introduced at the hot subdwarf conference in Tucson
(sdOB6, 2013), in a poster presentation:

There are some missing grid points, where model atmospheres repeatedly failed to
converge, typically for He rich models at the cool and hot end of the grid.
With 10887 models, the grid is 95.5% complete.
The file tlsdhhe.dat contains the model parameters, such as: Filename, Teff, logg, nHe/nH.
If you need to fit observations outside this grid or a more complex chemical
composition, give a try to the Sandbox service of Astroserver.org!
