A short wrap-up of my scientific CV

I studied physics and astronomy at the University of Bonn, Germany, where I got my Diploma and PhD degrees at the Faculty of Physics and Astronomy in June 1997 and in June 2000, respectively. My research for my Diploma and PhD theses I performed at the Max-Planck-Institute for Radioastronomy. After a further 15 months of post-doc time at the Max-Planck Institute in Bonn, I went to Utrecht, the Netherlands, where I worked for a period of 4 years in the group of Henny Lamers at the Astronomical Institute. In September 2005, I moved to Czech Republic where I had received a post-doc position at the Astronomical Institute in Ondrejov, and where I now work as a research scientist. Since January 2015, I also work part-time as a senior researcher at Tartu Observatory in Estonia.
